How do you play 45 Second Orange Battle?

Choose a starting team

Flip a coin, let the youngest start, or begin a creative football ritual — anything goes!

The Descriptor and the Radar

Within the team is:

• 1 player the Describer
• 1 or more players the Wheel(s)

The Describer picks a card and keeps it visible only to themselves.

The 45 seconds start!

Turn the hourglass over and start immediately.

The Describer describes one of the words on the card while the Rader(s) try to call out the correct answer.

The Descriptor may:
Saying everything except the word itself
Use synonyms and examples

Use gestures and body language
Using football terms and humor

The Descriptor may not:
use “Sounds like…”
Rhyming with the word
Spelling letter by letter
Name the word or parts of it

Did you guess a word correctly? Move on to the next word right away!
Try to get as many words as possible within 45 seconds.

End of the round

• Count how many words have been guessed correctly
• Note down the points
• Set the card aside
• It is the next team's turn.

Continuation of the game

Each team plays the same number of rounds. You decide yourselves how long the game lasts:

• 1 round per player
• Play until all cards are gone
• Or, for example, until a team reaches 30 points

Agree on this beforehand for a fair fight.

End of the game

When the game ends:

Add up all the points
The team with the most correctly guessed words wins the Orange Battle.
